Are you interested in art and music? Do you want to make a difference in our community? At our upcoming AGM, members will be electing four board members for a two year term ending September 2016. They will join the six current members whose term expires in September 2015.

West Vancouver Community Arts council is seeking candidates who have an interest in art and music and how these elements can improve the sustainability and liveability of our community.

WVCAC's mission is to increase and broaden the opportunities for West Vancouver and all North Shore citizens to enjoy and participate in cultural activities. We seek a board that includes a mix of gender, age and cultural diversity with the experience and expertise to govern effectively. Prospective board members should have a strong interest in the work of the WVCAC and bring a strong set of skills to help us to fulfil our mission.

We meet once a month, on a weekday evening. You will also be expected to join at least one of our committees:

  • Fundraising
  • Scholarship
  • Membership
  • Public Art
Committees meet as needed, usually once every two months. Refer to our Bylaws for operational details.

Please register before September 12 to express your interest in being added to this year's list of candidates.
