With a background in commercial illustration, Stephen Dittberner has a clear understanding of composition & the ability to useexpressive brushwork to move the viewer. he applies these skills to a series of gorgeous paintings depicting the graceful, joyous & contemplative workd of ballet. Dittberner's scenes, whether of ballerinas in mid dance or waiting in the wings, glow with a light & poised elegance that is sure to charm.
Opening reception: Friday August 1st, from 6 to 8pm.
