Are you interested in art and music? Do you want to make a difference in our community? WVCAC is calling for candidates to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for engaged members of our community from diverse backgrounds with a connection to West Vancouver  and the arts. Directors will be elected by WVCAC’s voting members at the upcoming annual general meeting in October 2021.

Qualifications

WVCAC aims to attract well-qualified, high-performing directors who are passionate about WVCAC’s mission and vision and interested in good governance. Ideally, directors will have a track record of board participation and/or will have achieved leadership stature in professional or other pursuits.

In addition to a willingness to be active participants on the board and having the time and interest to enhance community arts , director candidates must be WVCAC members in good standing, and qualified to serve pursuant to the BC Societies Act.

Full requirements are described in the Candidate Application Form.

Application process

To confirm your interest in serving, please submit your completed application form via the Register button at left. Applications will be accepted up until September 10, 2021. Interviews of qualifying candidates will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
